The Sewing Group by E.V. Crowe was presented as part of a double-bill (with Zero for the Young Dudes) by the 3rd Year BA Acting graduating cohort at Arts Ed in October 2019.

The play presents a unique challenge in that it is driven by a hidden timeline under the surface of the action on stage. I worked with the actors to unpick this and uncover the layers of meaning in the text, the complexity of embodying character on top of character and to help them confidently navigate the disjointed and often deliberately repetitious structure.
